Iran’s bank lending to economic sectors registers 59.5% in…

(MENAFN) According to the IRIB, Iran’s banking system has allocated 20.195 quadrillion rials (over $73 billion) of services to local economic sectors in the first three quarters of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-21 December 2021), registering an increase of 59.5% compared to the corresponding period last year.

Based on data provided by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), the country’s banking system allocated 12.633 quadrillion rials (about $45.69 billion) of services to several economic sectors during the same three quarters of Last year.

As indicated, working capital loans to various economic sectors during the nine months indicated amounted to more than 13.424 quadrillion rials (approximately $48.54 billion), or 66.5% of all services provided.
