Bengal Chamber connects MSMEs in Kolkata to financial institutions
Kolkata, September 10 (KNN) Working with LIC and HSBC, the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has connected leading fintechs and financial institutions with MSMEs to address their capital issues.
During the discussion, experts said that Indian MSMEs could contribute to India’s GDP.
They were speaking at a conclave on “Fin-Tech and Credit Expo 2022”.
“There are many opportunities for MSMEs to become an even stronger driver. The contribution of MSMEs to GDP is still lower than that of countries like the United States or China,” said Riddhi Gupta, Head of Strategy and Alliances at Invoicemart.
Aditya Kumar Sinha, Director of C-DAC, Patna, said digital transformation is a state of mind and every individual and business is challenged in new ways.
“We need to rethink product and service engagement models leveraging AI for customers,” he said.
The aim of the conclave is to bring together India’s fintech ecosystem, MSMEs and SMEs under one roof to raise awareness of technological innovation while accessing financial services. (KNN Office)
